It is a common misconception that mouthing should be encouraged, when in fact it is quiet, relaxed acceptance we are aiming for. A gentle bit that encourages the horse to stretch the top line forwards and down into a soft consistent contact.

Neue Schule bits are made from Salox Gold, a unique engineering metal that rapidly reaches body temperature, vastly improving comfort in the horse’s mouth. This material is also softer than traditional stainless steel, reducing ‘jarring’ and tooth wear by absorbing impact forces into the bit rather than the teeth.
