During turning the mouthpiece does not slide to the inside thus reducing friction across the mouth, promoting comfort. As the Waterford is flexible and bends in every direction it usually suits all types of mouth conformation, including big, fat tongues. This slimmer, innovative Waterford mouthpiece features our ergonomic LipSMART shelf which usually eradicates the previously common problem of rubs.

Neue Schule bits are made from Salox Gold, a unique engineering metal that rapidly reaches body temperature, vastly improving comfort in the horse’s mouth. This material is also softer than traditional stainless steel, reducing ‘jarring’ and tooth wear by absorbing impact forces into the bit rather than the teeth. By creating a warmer and softer feeling in the horse’s mouth, this bit helps promote a soft and consistent contact, encouraging relaxed acceptance of the bit.
